Hello Patty,
I was wondering if you have ever come across a Stringfellow/Lerch connection. My dad thought he vaguely remembered my grandmother (Katherine Feirstein - Florence's sister) saying something to that effect, but this last week when I was home we came across a handwritten note my grandmother wrote regarding the Feirstein side, and it turns out (from that) that Lorenz Feirstein's sister, Mary Katherine, was married to John Christian Lerch.Mary Katherine Holzknecht came to the US with Katherine Lerch and the children, and then married Lorenz Feirstein about a month later, so now I think that was the connection, but thought I'd ask a (Montana) Stringfellow researcher just to make sure I'm not missing something.Dad was under the impression the Lerch connection was an uncle (maybe) to Martin Leslie Stringfellow and the relationship was prior to his marriage to Florence, so more of a kin thing than through marriage.
Thank you for any help you can provide.
Jen
