Brian,

My ancestor, Malin Stringfellow, was born 1803 in (I think) Goshen. I have thought for a long time that the Samuel you mentioned was his brother- but have no proof. Jesse and George could be the father as the early census records have a boy in the right age bracket. I have learned that "a Stringfellow" married Lucy Malin in Goshen and she was disowned. I think this could be the parents or grandparents to Malin Stringfellow. I think these people are you ancestors, as well. Again, I have no proof -- but maybe they are clues in which to work. BTW-- Malin Stringfellow had a son named Samuel who was written up in a Philadelphia article and he mentioned that his Stringfellow line had been in PA for a long time. I have worked on this line for a LONG time and still can't prove Malin's parents -- if you find any links to your ancestor's parents -- please let me know!! Also -- are you the Brian from the Family DNA project? If so -- we've probably already shared all this info before.

Cathy
