Hello LAura,
My Husband's paternal side of the family came from Sweden. We are not related to the Strobecks in MN but the name is rather uncommon. There is a branch in the Boston area. His grandfather came to NE and from there to Idaho. I am really curious what your understanding of the families background in Sweden is. We are vague on where they came from. We think they came from Helsingsburg, Sweden. We know the name Strobeck is of German origin. There is a village in what was East Germany named Strobeck. That is from where they came before immigrating to Sweden.
I would like to chat and share.
