The Batavia (Kane County, Illinois) Herald, Dec. 6, 1906

A pleasing masquerade party was given at the K. of P. Hall, last Wednesday evening, under the auspices of the East Batavia Fire department. One hundred and fifteen couples were present. Miss Alma Lund and Allan Thompson secured the first prize for fancy dress and Miss Selma Johnson for best make up. The committee in charge was Jas. O'Boyle, Martin Stroble and Fred Eicksman.
