Searching for information regarding Absalom B. Stroup and his family.

This is what I know:

He was born in Jackson, Montgomery County, Ohio, December 1818.

Absalom was a blacksmith and his services were used during the Oregon Indian wars 1855-1856.

He moved to Walla Walla Washington for 9 years but then moved back to Oregon where he settled in Aurora and died in February of 1904.

He married Naomi Beavert in Oregon in 1875. Children from this union were:

Edward A.
John Benjamin
Catherine A.
Elmer N.

Any information about this family would be appreciated.

Portland, Oregon
