I believe Soloman Stroupe listed below was the son of David(4) & Margaret Inglefinger. He died in 1865 and left an estate which included an number of people, including his nephew David Miller. I have followed Soloman in the census ( I am missing the 1850) and I believe he probably had no children. The people listed in the estate are most likely his siblings. I was told my Malinda Stroup Redman might be his daughter, but their age is too close and with no children listed I doubt Soloman is Malinda Stroup Redman's father. So I think Levi is probably a son of David who I know had a son named Samuel A Stroup. I am not sure who Samuel A married and if he had children. It is my understanding that Samuel F Stroup who married Sarah L. is the son of Elizabeth Stroup (daughter of David & Margaret). There is another Samuel Stroup br circa 1820 (married Malinda) who is listed as David & Margaret's son along with a David br circa 1809 (married Mary/Polly). I am not sure about these two.
