Melissa, I happened to go past the Limington Library today, and popped in to see if they had any info on Daniel Clark for you. According to the Limington Book by Robert Taylor Daniel was born April 1763 in Berwick ME. died 12/25/1840 ae 77 yrs 8 mos in South Limington ME. 1790 census places him in Cornish ME and that he came to Limington in 1807. He married Susanna Strout 3/23/1797, the following are his children, but there was nothing on his parents.

Elisha: b 5/11/1788 d 12/1/1848 ae 60 years, 6 mos, 20 days in Bridgton ME, m. int. 1/11/1818 to Dorcas Small both of Limington. she was b 6/6/1797 Limington, d 11/22/1868 Bridgton ME.
2. Eunice b 10/00/1789 d 4/26/1864 ae 74 yrs 6 mos in Windham ME. M 11/30/1826 to Joseph Cook, of Windham, in Gorham
3. Dorcas b 1793 d 5/6/1880 ae 86 yrs unm. Limington
4. Benjamin b 9/4/1795 d 9/14/1884 ae 89 yrs, 10 mos, Limington. M 1/17/1823 Martha Manson of Limerick,
Marth b 2/2/1798 Limerick d 7/9/1825 Limington.
M 2nd: int. 9/10/1826 Caroline (Robinson) Emery, widow of John Emery of Newfield ME.
5. Patty no info
6. Mercy b 1082 d 3/8/1873 ae 71 yrs Newfield ME M. 3/28/1830 Jonathan Moody he b 1805 Ossipee NH d 5/24/1861 ae 56 yrs 4 mos 29 das in Newfield.

This is all they have on Daniel. Hope it helps Debbie
