I have George and Bridget children as you mentioned but also Ann b. 20 June 1707 Truro, MA
also Sarah b. 1735. Married John York in 1748 who was born 8 Dec. 1728 in Standish, Maine. Then in 1772 married her second husband Isreal Thorn in Standish, MA born in Standish, MA.

I am beginning to wonder if all these towns are all in Maine. But since Maine didn't become a state until 1820 the state of MA is mentioned interchangable.

I state that also due the following information I have about Christopher Strout Sr. It states he was born in Truro, England and died in Truro, MA. However, further information states that he settled in Eastman, Barnstable, ME which was set off as Truro in 1709. Perhaps (the reading continues) he was instrumental in naming of the new town, Truro, Barnstable, ME in 1709.
