Hi-
You might try the Cape Elizabeth Historical Preservation Society- they have a temp. controlled records room in the basement of the Thomas Memorial Library and have an address to send a query to-
cehps@thomas.lib.me.us
The room is open every Thurs. morning until noon.
My grandmother was Ada Strout from Limington and her line goes back to CE Strouts too. I lived there for over 20 years and just found out the connection to the early Strouts about 3 years ago.
