Am looking for additional info and lineage for my ancestor. The Wuerttemberg Emigration Index, Volume 4, gives his name as AUGUSTIN STUIBLE. In the marriage license application of his daughter Catherina, he was named as AUGUSTUS STUBILER. He was age 39 at time of his application in Feb 1847, i.e. born about 1808. His place of birth is given as Moensheim in the District of Leonberg. He resided in WARREN, TRUMBULL CO., OHIO in May, 1849.
Children listed in the Wuerttemberg Emigration Index who made application for emigration at the same time as he did (all born in Moensheim, Leonberg, Wurttemberg, Germany)are: JOHANNA CATHARINA (my line) b. 19 Jul 1834, m. 14 May 1849 in Weatherfield, OH to AUGUSTUS SPILER; ANDREAS b. 17 Jul 1837; CHRISTINE MARGARETHA b. 13 Jul 1840; SAMUEL FRIEDRICH b. 16 Apr 1842 and ANNA MARIA b. 3 Mar 1845.
The Wuerttemberg Emigration Index, Volume 4, lists an ANDREAS STUIBLE and family who made application to emigrate in Jul 1853, some five years after Augustin and his family. The fact that this family was also born in Moensheim and that Augustin named his eldest son Andreas makes it likely that this was a younger brother of Augustin.
