This message is in response to the message concerning Sarah Sturgill and William Boothe. The 1850 census in Quincy, FL shows a Dr. William Booth and his wife Sarah, who was 37 at that time. Dr. Booth was a physician and owned a huge plantation. He and Sarah had four children: R.C., Jesse C., Sarah, and Elizabeth. Jesse is my great great grandfather. The census lists his wife as: Sarah S. She and William were born in VA and moved to Quincy in the 1820 -1830 timeframe.

Please let me know if you have further information on Sarah Sturgill and William Booth(e).

Madeline E. Baggett
