Hi Alan,
Thanks for your response to my message, and if you do turn up a photo of Ann, please let me know.
It's an interesting hobby isn't it. One minute you are only aware of family around you and the next minute distant relatives appear from all over England and overseas as well. It is nice to make your acquaintance cousin!
The information you gave me was very useful, and in particular I wasn't aware of Thomas and Enoch as sons of John and Betsy. Equally I have a Betsy listed as a daughter, born on 19.12.1841 at Wrenbury.
I am a bit puzzled about your reference to my info. on John Sudlow. I think you must be mixing me up with someone else, as this is the only message I have registered with the Sudlow forum.
I have some messages under the heading of Sudlow mailboards on Rootsweb, and it could very well be to your advantage to visit and view the message and especially a very helpful and informative reply. The heading is "The Sudlows of Wrenbury"
I have a Samuel Sudlow ( 1786 - 1855) as father of John Sudlow. He married a Martha Vernon. My information is that they were married in 1811 at Wrenbury.
It is interesting to note that the Sudlows can be traced back to Tudor times. The next time I go to Chester R.O I will have to look into this.
Come back to me when you have looked at the site referred to above.
Regards,
Alan
