Hi, I am doing genealogy on Summerskill's. I have learned in the 1860 in Cooper Co., MO. census my Charles born about 1828 - 1829 born in Eng. He has his wife Lucinda and two sons John W. age 5 born in Chariton Co., MO. and Charles Thomas age 3 also born in Chariton Co., MO. He has a brother living with him named John 29 born in Eng. and a farmhand John Cornelius age 15 born ib MO.

I find them again in 1870 Moniteau Co., Mo. this time with two more children a daughter S.E, age 11 and son T.J. age 3 both born in MO. I have not had any more luck in finding them in the 1880 except for the two oldest children which are Charles Thomas and John W.

My Charles Thomas was born 7 Sept. 1856 but my neice found a James Marshall also born in Sept 1856 I am thinking This James Marshall might be a twin to my Charles becasue he names his first born son James Marshall b. 1899 in Cooper Mo. I have info on Charles Thomas and his brother John W. but nothing on the rest of them. Do you think we have a connection here??? Thanks so much, Linda
