I haven't reached as far back as yourself yet but this is what I know of my mother's descendants.

My mother is Elsie Summersgill, an only child. Her father was John Henry Summersgill (known as Summerscales) - confused? born 1896, died 17 Jan 52. He was one of four children that I know of, siblings being Charles, Edward Hulton (Teddy) and Edith. Their parents were Charles Wilkin Summerscales and Rose Summerscales (nee Lomas). This is as far as I have got at the moment. The family grave is at Southern Cemetary, Chorlton, Manchester but on a final note, I know there is another Summerscales grave there and off the top of my head, I believe there is a mother, father and two grandchildren in this one. Any connection?
