Starting Sept. 5, 2014, Genealogy.com will be making a big change. GenForum message boards, Family Tree Maker homepages, and the most popular articles will be preserved in a read-only format, while several other features will no longer be available, including member subscriptions and the Shop.

According to my g.father's birth certificate (John Henry), he was born on 13 April 1896 at Nursery Lane, Wilmslow. His father is listed as Charles Summerscales and his mother, Rose Summerscales, formerly Lomas. Charles was a coachman (domestic servant) and resided at Nursery Lane, Wilmslow.

This is all i have at the moment but I do have an appointment on 8 September to attend the Records Office in Manchester to do some research and will let you know if I can find anything out that links us in with you.

Where do you live?
