I have listed 23 May 1947 for the marriage in Montgomery Co. of a Mary Margaret Sunderland to John D. Blodgett.I also have another marriage for her to Andrew Bodine, no date or other information - no indication to verify this is the same woman.
I have her birthdate as 3 Oct 1833 in Butler Township, Montgomery CO, the dau. of William Sunderland and Peggy (Margaret) Miller.William was the son of RichardSunderland and Nancy Martin, and Richard was the son of William Sunderlandand Sarah Reasor.
There are some problems with this, because it has her 14 years old at marriage, but I can't vouch for these dates.
I don't have a Mary listed as dau of Peter Sunderland (another son of William S. and Sarah Reasor) and Nancy Robbins, but I do have a Margaret, b. abt 1824 in Centerville, Montgomery Co, Ohio.and have listed a husband _ Reeser and a daught. Margaret Reeser.
=>another possibility is that there were two John Blodgetts?
You say "I have a copy of the will that her father made and he simply calls her "Mary. "- whose will is this (date place? other names?) and how do you know it is tied to this Mary? (actually we might be dealing with two different Marys)
