I am the Vigo County (Indiana) Historian and just found your message thanks to Paul R. Sarrett, Jr. and his excellent website. From time to time over the past few years I have pursued research on actress VALESKA SURATT (sic), the daughter of Ralph M. Suratt and Anna Suratt (the way the surname seems to been spelled here). Though I have not made a special study of Valeska's siblings and still have considerable work to do on Valeska herself, I have acquired a body of information about brother Austin, sister Leah, brother Ralph "Judge", and stepsister Myrtle Strckland.
