Diana Here is more info on Henry P. & Millie Stratton Surrett sons. Berry A. Serrett moved from Dekalb Co Ga to Campbell Co Ga then onto Gordon Co Ga where he lived with his family and his mother Millie who died before 1880. Berry A. died in Mar 1912 and is buried in Hopewell church cemetery in (Gordon Co) Oakman Ga. McNeas Surrett is not found anywhere after the 1850 Dekalb Co Ga census. Sanford & Cicero moved to the Carroll Co Ga area and both served in CSA army. They later moved to the Cleburne Co Ala area. Cicero Green Surrett was killed in (Polk Co) Cedartown Ga in Nov 1875 by a bootlegger named Bud Tuberville. Sanford Surrett died in the big bend area of Floyd Co Ga in May 1887 and is buried there, site unknown. My email address is amossurrett@aol.com if anyone would like the correct information & history of the ancestors of Berry A., Sanford, Green Cicero and their uncle Samuel G. Surrett.
