Mary A Surratt-Does anyone know who she belongs to?

I'm hoping some of you who have researched the Surratt's, or any of the various spellings of the name, may be able to give me a lead on my gr-gr-grandmother. I know very little about her, so I'm going to list what I know. She married William H Yates sometime between 1850 and 1859 either in Mississippi (Tippah or Tishomingo County) or in Tennessee.
William H Yates was listed with his family in the 1850 Marshall County Mississippi census. 1860 he and Mary A,(21 and born in Tennessee) are listed in the Tishomingo County Mississippi Census, with my gr-grandfather being 3/12 months old. William H. Yates was killed during the Civil War (1863). Mary A (Surratt)Yates married Blake Marcus Mauldin Nov. 15, 1866 in Tishomingo County Mississippi, they had 3 sons together, who in the 1890's moved to Texas.
Mary A (Surratt)(Yates) Mauldin died in 1879 in either Tippah or Alcorn Co., Mississippi.

Does my Mary A (probably Ann) sound familiar to any of you? If so, I would like to know who her parents were.

Also any leads on her would be appreciated.

Susan (Yates) Bishop
