HI JOY,
FINDING INFORMATION ABOUT THE SURSA LINE IS LIKE TRYING TO GET WATER OUT OF A ROCK!I HAVE QUITE A BIT OF INFO ON THE SURSA LINE IN JEFFERSON COUNTY,IL. I FOUND ALOT OF INFO IN THE SURSA CEMETERY IN MT.VERNON. THAT IS WHERE MY GREAT GRANDPARENTS ARE BURIED. THAT WOULD BE JAMES WILLIAM AND REBECCAH(KITE)SURSA. MY GOAL IS TO TRY TO FIND THE ORIGIANAL COUNRTY WE CAME FROM? MY GREAT GRANDFATHER HAD A BROTHER THAT WENT TO TEXAS IN THE EARLY 1900'S I THINK THAT IS PROBABLY HOW THE SURSA LINE MADE IT TO TEXAS.
I HOPE YOU CAN SHED SOME LIGHT ON THIS FOR ME!
