Looking for information on Joseph Hollander and Antoinette (or Antonie?) Svec. Both were born approximately 1885 - 1890.
They came to Canada approximately 1905 - 1908.
My grandmother, their daughter, related tales to me as a child... his family being very poor (grandma called them "gypsies"), and her family being very well off. Supposedly, her family disowned her when she married Joseph. Grandma told me that they came from a town starting with the letter "P"... seems it only had a few letters, in Austria. The town later became part of Czechoslovakia. I have a feeling it's Plzen.
Any assistance would be appreciated!
