Your posting is pretty old, so you may have this information already. A Nellie Ester Swab, born 25 Aug, 1891, died 2 May, 1923 would have been my aunt had she lived until I was born. She did marry Leo Karnow. They had two children, Pauline and Charles. Nellie's father was Adam Alvin Swab and her mother was Flora Ann Schwartz.
If any of this fits, let me know I have more information. Adam Alvin Swab did move to Denver about 100 years ago, but later moved on the California. We were not close the Karnows and my information about them is very sketchy.
