I have some info on the Swadley/Fanning lines in the Dade Co. area. Also on Marcus Swadley Jr, originally from the "Northern Neck of VA" area in the mid 1700's.Some of the John Fanning Sr researchers would eventually like to do a book on this clan of Fannings, and at this point in time, believe Thomas(Ann Howard)Fanning was the eldest son of John Sr though not proven and will likely never be except using circumstational info.
Would very much appreciate if those researchers of this line would gather all the info you can as there were additional Fanning siblings beside Anna, Thomas and John. And at some point in the future be willing to share your info for a book.
If wanted I will post what other info I have on Thomas Fanning prior to 1790.
Thanks, Judie
