This is a long shot. Looking for a FRANK TOWLE SWAIN who was living
in Philidelphia, Pa in 1897 to 1898 period. HIs "cousin and namesake" George Francis Towle, left him an antique watch and his "one tenth interest in 160 acres of lead (mining) land in Galena, Kansas". At time of 1897-98, Frank Towle Swain was working for Jenkins Brothers in Philidelphia. his mother was a Towle, probably a daughter of Joseph Towle of Epping, NH. Don't know her name. GFT died in 1900, and a copy of will ended up in Cherokee county Kansas. I think Frank T. probably went there (Kansas) to check on his land claim. Anyone with info on Frank T., please post here, or contact me at belai_1@hotmail.com. Thanks
