Gary,

I have not done much research on the William Swain in Parker County but his name appeared on several family legal documents. He served on the Confederate Pension Board in Parker County and put up the suriety bond for my great-great-grandmother to act as executor of her husband's estate. All of these events were between 1900 and 1910. Her mother-in-law was a Swain and the family had come to Texas from McNairy/Hardin counties in Tennessee. I think there may be a connection but have not made any yet.

Sherry
