I have a genaelogy handed down from my uncle, Marshall Hale Wharton, originally from Marshall v. Wharton:
"U-3 William Caleb Wharton, (Bartlett (U-1)) born 3-13-1788 in Union County South Carolina. He died on May 23, 1876 in what was then known as Spring Valley, Arkansas. His burial place is at Bald Know Cemetery which is located on a farm now owned by Lester McAllister... Caleb married ELIZABETH SWAIN (hand printed "Pearl Swain Nash's great grandmother") in Lawrence County tennessee on March 20, 1822. Caleb served in the War of 1812 during the periods from 10-4-1813 to 1-7-1814. Caleb and Elizabeth had the following:

U-18 John Harrison, born 1823
U-19 Female, born 1825
U-20 Female, born 1827
U-21 Wilburn Marion 1829 (handwritten "date ?")
U-22 Joshua, born 1831
U-23 Female, born 1833
U-24 Milley, born 1835

U-18 John Harrison Wharton, (Bartlett, Caleb) NOTE ANTECEDENTS ARE SHOWN IN REVERSE was born in McNairy County Tennessee in 1823. John married Catherine Johnston in 1848 after his family had moved to Madison County Arkansas..."

I have the offspring, also.

U-21 Wilburn Marion Wharton (Bartlett, Caleb) born in Mc Nairy county Tennessee in 1829 ? He moved with his family to Madison County Arkansas between 1835 and 1840. Wilburn married Mary Jane Marshall in Vallwy Springs, Arkansas in 1851? He died of smallpox while on a horse-buying tripin Missouri in 1879 (handwritten "buried in Little Rock"). Mary Jane was killed in Cisco, Texas when a tornado hit the town on 4-20-1897. Willburn and Mary Jane had the following:

I have their offspring also.

If you are interested in tracking them further, you can use this forum. I am presently researching Elizabeth Swain , with no hope until now, Melissa (Elyseh)Marshall, and the above Mary Jane Marshall.

John Harrison Wharton is my line.

Lorraine Wharton Pierce
