Sherry,

I caught your posting on Swain family coming from McNairy Co, TN. I'm wondering if they are connected to ELIZABETH SWAIN m William Caleb Wharton 3-20-1822. His father, Bartlett Wharton had moved his family to McNairy Co, TN between 1803-1809. His son John Harrison Wharton moved to Hunt Co,Texas in 1879. His family lived at Leonard, Texas. He is buried at Springtown, Texas. There was a Wharton aunt Mary Jane Marshall Wahrton) killed in a tornado at Cisco, Texas in 1897.

If any of these people are familiar to you, I'd appreciate a response at this forum.

Lorraine
