Social Security Death Index, list William as a Swain, but list the following children as a Swaim.
William is my great grandfather, and my side of family went by swaim.
Info from my mother says that james real name is geems. Geems is my grandfather who married rachel davis.
My mother says that one half brother changed his name to swain. I dont have info on half brothers or sisters.
