Stacey, Harriet J. Swain married William R. Garrett in Jefferson Co. Il. in 1869. She and William were living with his parents in 1870 Census in Jefferson Co. Harriet was 17.
By 1880 William and Harriet are in Hill Co. Texas. Harriet died at 30 I'm sure from child birth because her last child Joe Garrett was born abt 1883
In my grandmother family Bible Nettie Garrett Stansbery she had Harriet as Harriett Isbell Swain. In her marriage records her name is Harriet J.Sawin. So not sure were the Isbell comes from..... Could be Harriett mother name, not sure.
Do you have anymore info on this Harriet J. Swain, her age etc........ Thanks for all you help...Jerry
