Am looking for the family below.
William Swain was born in Tonbridge Kent, England in 1840 and joined the Army and served in India late 1860s.
Returned to England and was pensioned out of the Royal Scots Reg in Scotland.
After 1881 Census the family is not found in Eng/Sct so could have emigrated to USA/Canada/Aust/??
