Hi,
My ggggg-father is John MacSwain, born in Isle Shye, Invernesshire, Scotland. He came to Canada around 1758 with the 78 th regiment of Simon Fraser. He married Marie-Louise Larrivée-Maurice in september 1760 in Beaumont, Quebec, Canada and around 1769 he bought a piece of land in Berthier, Quebec, Canada. They had 3 sons : Pierre-Hypolitte (1771), Jean-Baptiste (1773) and Jacques (1775).
I have all the info from them going down all the way to me.... But I don't have any more info on him, to go up! Can you help me please ?
