Swain/Swaim/Swan in NC

Would anyone have knowledge of a Swaim marrying a Cockerham between 1790-1800? I have a William Cockram/Cockerham, believed to be the son of Moses V. Cockerham in Surry Co, NC. William was born about 1769 and I believe he may have married 2 times at least. I'm beginning to wonder if he married a Swaim 1st, as he has a son named Swaim/Swain Cockram. I always wondered where the heck that came from, but now am thinking either William married a Swaim or?? Maybe his 2nd wife who was a Stewart may have been related in some way. She is Elizabeth "Betsy" Stewart, believed to be the daughter of Nathanial Stewart, who lived in Surry Co, NC too around that same time.

Any information would be very helpful!!! :)

Thanks in advance,
Teresa
