I am seeking information about Rebecca IRVIN who married a William SWAIN in Henry Co., IN. Rebecca was born about 1836 in OH to Joseph and Catherine IRVIN of PA, OH, and Henry Co., IN.
Rebecca and her husband, William SWAIN, had two twin sons, Noah and William, both born in Henry Co., IN. Rebecca supposedly became estranged from her family due to her brother, George Washington Irvin (b. 1846) and a friend of hers who "had to move away". I am seeking Rebecca Irvin Swain's birth county in OH, in order to put my Irvin in a specific location in OH, and which might lead me back to the county in PA where Joseph and Catherine Irvin married . Does anyone know what other children William and Rebecca (Irvin) Swain might have had, since I cannot find census info for Henry Co. with paying a lot to Ancestry.com? What happened to William and Noah Swain, sons of Wm. and Rebecca (Irvin) Swain? Did they live and die in Henry Co., IN? I think my William Swain was a farmer, but was he related to your William Henry Swain? I have not done a lot of Swain research in Henry Co., IN as I live in Monroe Co., IN. I do not know what religion my William and Rebecca (Irvin) Swain followed.
