Hi, Catherine. Your Charles was bro. to my husband's ggggrandmother, Mary Pollie SWAIN who marr. William Berry WEST. b. 1825 Marshall Co.,MS. Their parents were John SWAIN and Lucinda Norris SWAIN. My husband has a double connection. His last name is NORRIS. Mary and William B.'s daughter Adeline P. WEST who marr.,William John MORGAN, then marr. Charles GATES, was his G-Grandmother. Their daughter Laura Dove MORGAN marr. Mr. BOSCHERT was his grandmother, then Josephene BOSCHERT NORRIS was his mother.
