H. E. swain was reported in correspondence to his cousin as being in queensland in 1875. this is almost certainly henry edward swain b.c 1855 in maidstone kent. i have a record of a henry swain arriving on the "lightbrigade" in 1873, but then nothing.

any help would be greatly appreciated
