My husbands gggrandfather was Halvor Halvorson Swain b.22 April 1847 in Nordre Aurdais Prestegjeld Valders Norway. He came to the US in 1868 to WI. There he married Helen Jertine Bergstien daughter of Iver Pederson Bergstien of Stavanger Norway and Buffalo WI. They lived in Naples,WI and Mondovi, WI. They had seven children Sena, Helen, Herbert, Iver, Marie, Ida, and Clarence.
I am looking for anything on the gggrandparents and farther back. If any of this looks familar to you let me know. Any info would be appreciated.
