Giles Robert Swain born 1822 Bradpole, Dorset, England died March quarter 1893 brother of John Swain and son of John & Jane Swain. He married Harriet, and had ten children. Amy Louisa, Minnie, Caroline, Annie, My great-great-great grandmother Jessie Lydia m. Arthur Briscoe, Harriet Mary, Ellen Jane, Clara Anne, and sons Ernest & Frank.
Jessie Lydia Swain and Arthur Briscoe had seven children. Clarence Charles, Gordon Giles (went to Canada from England), Stanley Arthur, Ernest William, Norman John, Reginald Montague, and my great-great-grandfather Roland L. Swain Briscoe (went to Canada from England).
Gordon Giles Briscoe (went to Canada from England) m. Ivy Grace Andrews and had one son, Ivan.
Roland L. Swain Briscoe (went to Canada from England) m. Florence Ellen Clark and had four sons. Leslie d.1981, Ed (possibly still living), Cecil 1918-1977, and my great grandfather Daniel Briscoe 1919-1996 m. Margaret Noble.
Any information whatsoever on ancestors, descendants, and/or descendants of ancestors of any of the above Swain family members is highly appreciated.
