I am working on the family of Johannes Reinhart Swain from Germany whose descendents include Benjamin and his son, Benjamin of MD and later Westmoreland Co. PA, Jacob and another Benjamin of Butler Co. PA, Jacob E. George Ambrose and William of Wayne and Ashland Co. OH, and their descendents in Medina, Holmes, and Summit Counties in Ohio and Wisconsin, Kansas, Iowa, and Illinois. This includes the names of Lybarger, Emerich, Watts, Miller, Gocher, Nettle, Segar, Ambrose, Brown, and many others. If any of these names or places are in your Swain family, please contact me.
