My Valentines are all first names. None of these names sound familiar to me. My line goes like this- Eva Swain, my grandmother, Edgar Swain and Eva Scherrer, Shubael Edgar Swain and Catherine Nagle, Shubael Swain and Sarah Turner, Ebenezer Swain and Lydia Ellis, Ebenezer Swain and Lydia Giles, Joseph Swain and Mary Sibley, John Swain and Mary Wyer, Richard Swaine and Basill- first immigrant. Richard was in New Hampshire, a part of the Mass Bay colony at that time, and then went to Nantucket with only one son, John. The rest stayed in NH. I don't yet know about their descendants, as it take a long time to type 218 pages of Swains into a program- so I do it once in awhile.

Shubael had three known children- Valentine, Sarah and Shubael Edgar. I know about their lives and children. I have researched extensively, but the Nantucket Connection is new. Sue
