Hi James:
I am just beginning my Swain of Texas research also. I had an uncle John ? Swain who lived in Tyler, TX and passed around 1967-77. He had 2 children, born in Tyler, TX - Steve Swain, approx. age now 47? and daughter Cindy Swain also born in Tyler, TX about 45 yrs old now. They were my cousins and I haven't heard from them since the early 1970s. This John Swain was my father's brother, my father was George Wesley Swain born in Dallas (Oak Cliff) TX on 11-10-28 and passed 11-7-76.
Do they seem related to yours? I haven't had much luck at all yet. Hope we both do.
