Hello Dick-I assume you are an Allender from Shelby Co., In. Talked with you on the phone several years ago. My line comes from Alonzo, bro of Oliver. I would be interested in what info you have on the Swain and related families still living in the Manilla-Arlington area. I have met John Rigsby and have his chart, but nothing on the existing families there. I was in Nantucket last spring, a little before things opened for the summer. My main interest there was what occupations the Swain families had there. Yes, there are some buildings still left built by Swains, but a lot was lost by the big fire some years ago. Also John Swain's house was lost to fire about the turn of the century. The old mill still stands and is operated during the summer months-was not when I was there. If you do have info on Swain families inShelby and Rush Counties, let me know. Bill
