I am a descendant of Elizabeth Swain who married Caleb Franklin Wharton in Lawrence County, TN in Dec of 1821. This is my line:

I am grateful for the info found on this forum showing that Elizabeth's parents are William W. Swain, Sr. and Rebecca Williamson of McNairy County, TN. My Wharton and Richardson families also have McNairy County connections.

I will be glad to share further info and would welcome a reply from anyone with a connection.
