Hi, John, I am also researching the SWAIN Family of Bedford CO, VA. I have the same information that Nancy gave you. I descend from Jeremiah SWAIN's sister Amey b. 1795 Bedford CO m. George KENT Jan. 12, 1812 Bedford CO. Our original SWAIN was Charles and wife Elizabeth. Their son George was b. June 2, 1759 Baltimore, MD and brought to Bedford CO as an infant. George and wife Martha "Patty" HUDSON are the parents of Jeremiah & Amey among others. Thought it would help you to know there are others researching these SWAINS.
