Swank in Westmoreland - Tree #1527

If you are the person who posted Tree #1527 in Volume 21 at Genealogy.com, would you please contact me? We are definitely in the same Swank family in Westmoreland County, PA as you list the family down through my father, his siblings and various cousins. Several of us across the country have been working on this line and have all become "stuck" at the same place you are; i.e., with John Swank in the Ligonier Valley in 1800. We can't find where he came from! Would like to discuss any possible leads you may have or we may have to see what has been disproven already since it seems that nothing has been proven. We can provide you with some better dates for what you do have, give you more recent generations if you would like them, and we will, of course, share any new information that we might discover in tracking down who I now call "The Elusive John Swank".

If anyone else sees this and can help or is looking for more information on their Swank line in Westmoreland County, please also contact me. We are a sharing group!
