Thanks so much for your reply...Lemuel is my brick wall...because of his birth at sea..and parents dying so quickly...there is not much on him,,,,,yet, he lived..He was my g.g.g.grandfather. I have everything on this tree down. Thanks, I do have the Suttons.
I reseached another Swank line a few years ago...Johann George Swank b. 1765 Pa..His father and mother, Johannes Michael Swank b abt. 1729 and wife Eva Catherina Huber came to Pa. from Germany. They settled in Montgomery Co., Pa. , had four children there, then moved to Fredrick, Maryland and had four or five more there before moving again to Lovettsville, Virginia. Their son Johann George Swank b. 1765 married Margrethe Meyer and had nine children in Virginia...Married again to Catherine Roller and had 10 children. Some in Virginia and the rest in Muskingum County Ohio. A very large family!!!! From Ohio, they scattered to the wind.....
I have a lot on this family, thinking that I could attach Lemuel somehow..but alas, not. Thanks againm,,Marj
