I am trying to trace my Grandfather Harry Swank, born in Pennsylvania January 1883. Father was William Swank.
Their were three children, Anna, Mary and Harry. Anna and Mary were older than Harry.
I can not find any records indicating whom Williams spouse was, nor records of the births. My grandfather often stated that he was an orphan and I took it as if he was jesting with me . Now I wonder if their was truth in that statement.
I can locate Harry and William in the 1900 Guernsey County Ohio census and his wife is Emma Black at that time. As far as I can tell they moved to Nobel County after 1900 . Any help would be appreciated.
Thanks
Mary J
