Wayne,
I'm seeing a couple of items you have posted that indicate a possible connection between our Swank families.

My husband's 2nd gr-grandparents were William Tipton & Mahala "Haley" Swank. William's sister, Ann M. Tipton, married Phenis Swank, who seems to be a brother to Mahala.

As I looked over your Swank website, I found another possible connection, but am unsure how it might be. You have a John Anderson Swank. Is the Anderson surname allied to the Swank family?

Here's the interesting part... Mahala Swank & William Tipton had a son they named John Anderson Tipton, and he is my husband's gr-grandfather. He married Nancy Burget in Pickaway County and later moved to Franklin County, Ohio. John & Nancy had 9 children including my husband's grandfather, Scott William Tipton b. 1895. His son is still living, aged 86, in Franklin County.

Do you see a connection from your branch of the tree?!
