From the Caldwell (Kansas) Commercial, Thursday, June 29, 1882, page 3:

SWAYER - BROWN: In this city, on Monday evening, June 26th, 1882 by Rev. D. F. Owens, Samuel Swayer and Miss Fannie Brown, all of this city. None of our citizens who are acquainted with the high contracting parties, but will join the Commercial in congratulations and most hearty wishes for their future happiness and prosperity.
