I have a Charlotte Swayne who married Guy Henderson on 5 Oct 1841. Not sure, but I think she was the child of William Swayne, the tavern-keeper who sold a farm to Samuel Henderson, father of Guy (and my ancestor Edward, etc.) around the same time. They were all residents of Williamsburg Twp, Dundas Co. William Swayne is mentioned in J. S. Carter, The Story of Dundas (1904) page 315. The Hendersons are thought to have come to Dundas Co via Gore Twp, Argenteuil Co, Quebec, and before that from County Mayo or County Sligo in Ireland.
