THELMA SWAYNE 97, formerly of Houston, passed away Monday, September 3, 2001. She is preceded in dearth by husband, Herman J. Swayne and son, H.J. Swayne Jr. She is survived by son and daughter-in-law Milton R. Swayne and wife La Wanda, Houston; daughter and son -in-law Shirley Irene Taylor. Conroe. TX., Beverly J. Teel and husband Eugene, New Waverly, TX., brother, J,B, Gantenbein; sisters, Florence Bain, Houston and Dolly Boultt, Monroe, La., (15) Grandchildren, many great grandchildren and many great great grandchildren, Visitation will be from 1:00 - 6:00 p.m. on Tuesday, September 4, 2001 at Heights Funeral Home. Funeral service will be at 10:00 a.m. on Wednesday, September 5, 2001 at Height Funeral Home with Rev. Dearing Jone officiating. Intement Rosewood Cemetery.
